The first part of your assignment this week is to develop a clearer theoretical and practical understanding of what Innovation Management involves.
Using the NCU library, conduct some research on the topic of innovation and innovation management.
Part 1:
Write a paper that synthesizes your findings. Be sure to address the following:
- What does the discipline of Innovation Management involve?
- How is Innovation Management related to technology?
- Are there recurring theories found in research related to Innovation Management?
- How do the article’s concepts demonstrate visionary leadership?
Length: 5-7 pages, not including title page or references
Part 2:
For the next aspect of this assignment, create a PowerPoint presentation based on your paper. Assume that you are giving the presentation to students, like yourself, who have yet to take this course.
Incorporate appropriate animations, transitions, and graphics as well as speaker notes for each slide. The speaker notes may be comprised of brief paragraphs or bulleted lists.
Length: 5-7 slides (with a separate reference slide, if needed)
Notes Length: 100-150 words for each slide
Be sure to include citations for quotations and paraphrases with references in APA format and style where appropriate. Save the file as PPT with the correct course code information. Your assignment should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic.
