So Proudly We Hail Essay.
The Northampton Exchange club in collaboration with the Northampton Area Middle School sixth grade geography teachers invites you to participate in the Sixth Annual So Proudly We Hail Essay Contest.
Students are asked to write an essay that recognizes the American Flag. All students will respond to the same prompt: What does the American flag stand for? The goal is that students can develop a deeper knowledge and appreciation for the American flag while working through the writing process.
Final essays are due to Mrs. Bottjer on February 3rd. Any essays that are handed in late will not be considered for the contest. All essays must be original work of the student.
The Exchange Club will choose the top three essay winners, and these students will be recognized at March 4, 2020, Northampton Exchange Club So Proudly We Hail Contest Winners Recognition Dinner. If you have any further questions, please see your individual classroom teacher.
